Basic Poker Rules
The poker rules are applied in the most games. There are some typical hands that will surely bring a holder a win. But there are a lot of them and each has its own value, suggesting a rank. So I'll describe the combos from the highest or the most valuable to the lowest, but still winning.
- Flush Royal - the best possible hand in poker 10-J-Q-K-A (same suit)
- A straight flush occupies the second place according to basic poker rule winning hand parade. A straight is any five cards in sequence of the same suit but without ace. So it can be 5-6-7-8-9.
- Then there goes four of a kind, it has only four cards of the same kind.
- Your hand can be called a full house due to the basic poker rules when you have three cards of a kind and then two cards but of a different kind. 10-10-Q-Q-Q is called a full house.
- A flush is a hand holding only cards of the same suit, hearts for example.
- A straight is five cards in sequence but of different suits.
- Then there is a hand consisting of three in a kind.
- Two pairs follow a three of a kind hand.
- Pair is the next.
- And a high card
